Meet Brenna Wear

Registered Massage Therapist

Brenna graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy Victoria in 2020, and moved to Powell River in January 2021. She is crazy for the outdoors, and when not massaging you can find her tending veggies and flowers in her garden, taking her puppy for strolls in the woods, painting, or on the beach enjoying these gorgeous sunsets.  She is passionate about movement, body mechanics, anatomy and self-care, and keen to share her knowledge with you.

Her massage style is one that promotes relaxation while also targeting her client's specific issues through the use of Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching and strengthening, and tailored homecare programs.  She loves working with all populations, and through her training has experience working with chronic pain, injury rehabilitation, mental health, pregnancy and postpartum, spinal issues, central & peripheral nervous system disorders, and all different age groups.

Why Massage?

It can help with

Forest Path
Chronic Pain

Massage Therapy has been shown to reduce chronic pain with consistent treatment. Ask me how!

By reducing the firing of the Sympathetic Nervous System, massage can help reduce your stress levels.

Massage Therapy is a great addition to a rehabilitation program for acute or chronic injuries.

Pregnancy & Postpartum

Pregnancy and post-partum are times of great change for the body, the mind, and the spirit. Massage Therapy can help new mamas and mamas-to-be relax, rest, and reduce the muscle and joint pain that comes along with the physical changes.

Strength and Mobility

Massage Therapy can include strengthening and stretching techniques and tailored homecare programs

And More!

Massage Therapy can also help with many other things, but you don't always need a reason for a massage! If you just want to spend an hour pampering yourself (or someone else!), treat yourself to an appointment.

"Brenna is fantastic! I was having a lot of trouble with my hands and forearms from the computer work that I do, and she helped me immensely! She's extremely knowledgeable and great at what she does. On top of getting significant relief, I have learned so much from our sessions together! From explaining why she was working in certain areas to providing easy-to-follow homecare instructions, Brenna has helped me become more equipped when it comes to taking care of my own body. I'd highly recomment her to anyone!"
